There is something I have always been curious about. Why does everyone have a problem with rosé? Why do people feel about rosé as they feel about that childhood bully who used to steal their lunch money? I mean, why does everyone hate it so much? It's true: rosé wines are neither white nor red - and I am not...

It's a disaster. Every time the same story. You have been invited to dinner and you have been asked to bring the wine but it's a last-minute invitation - say, more or less one month and a half of notice - and you will never find the time to open a good bottle of wine and let it breathe properly to let the wine oxygenate....

As children, even before learning how to walk or how to use the potty, we are taught the sacred golden rule: "Sparkling wine is for the aperitif. White wine goes with fish. Red wine goes with meat. Everyone can boast an own small cellar - some of us may have only a few bottles, some of us may keep some special wines for specific occasions, while others may even be experts who like to collect sophisticated rarities. Regardless, it would be a shame if our treasure was kept in an inappropriate environment.

The idea of opening this blog came about while reading various articles about wine on newspapers, blogs and trade magazines. Wine seems to have now become something complex, burdensome, difficult - it no longer represents a moment of company among friends and relatives, or one of extreme harmony with a lover.
